The silent tree
A distant gull
A sleeping child
In wonder

And still
She holds
Her voice
A whisper
In the breeze
Come
Come
Remember me
Her perfumed breath
Her very heartbeat
Eternally
In rhythm
Steadfast
Earth goddess
Lover of all
She sings in our veins
Scents the body
Her stride resolute
Her love indestructible
infinite

The Sun Reigns
This goddess of the sky
Sees into every corner
Her incessant smile
Secreting gold
The gaze
Missing nothing
The Swan
The silent swan
Swimming swiftly
Wonderful wing span
She sees the bright sun!
The Self Care Bear
The Self Care Bear
Bares its teeth
When danger is near
Fills its aggressor with terrible fear
Flashes its eyes with laser light
Flexes its muscles
Ready for fight
So don’t go near
The self care bear
It will chase you away
Only God knows
To where
The Pianist
Touching the slow notes
Lover of the pause
Deep soul immersed
The sun rains
Through coloured glass
And together with the sound
Fills this sacred place

Loving you
I keep you with me
When the moon hangs high
I breathe with you
In full day sun
I shine in you
In rapturous joy
I dance through you
When sorrow comes
I hold you near
And in forgetting me
I am still
With you
Unity
We who wait
In the dark
Knowing silent love
Let our tears combine
Our joy dilate
Our gifts take hold
As truth itself

Sanctuary
In the sunlit climate of a tempered heart
Calls a distant voice
In whispers to the soul
Now I speak of still and silent figures
Skies open
Arms outstretched
Dance
Yes dance
True sorrow leaves no track behind
And leads us back
To love
